Re: Lego Star Wars (couple of large images)
Republic Commando, doesn't, but I thought Battlefront was extremely bland.
And neither of those games really followed the movies, per say, and I'm guessing this Lego one does? Heck, I dunno, I didn't bother reading the article.Last edited by Caciss; 03-12-2005, 08:14 PM.

Re: Lego Star Wars (couple of large images)
Meth.
And Caciss, you should know that you're using and spelling 'per say' wrong. The spelling is 'per se,' and the usage would be 'of or pertaining to a specific thing in lieu of a broader idea.' For instance, instead of:
"And neither of those games really followed the movies, per say, and I'm guessing this Lego one does?" you would say:
"And neither of those games really followed the movies, per se, but took place in the timeline of the movies."
An easier way to put it would be to say:
It's not that I don't like the Pavilion, per se, I just don't like the Staff.
Which is not a true statement at all. Just a good example."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

Re: Lego Star Wars (couple of large images)
That's one of the most commonly misused phrases in the language. I wouldn't feel bad.
As an aside to the current conversation, and back to the point of the topic, C3PO just looks... dumb. He's way too fat to be the same robot.Last edited by Big Rick Cook; 03-12-2005, 09:57 PM."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

At least I didn't treat you like I used to treat Staffmaster. I lambasted him pretty damn harshly back in the day over every single little mistake he made. I merely let you know you were using it wrong and gave you examples to correct the usage of the term 'per se.' Be happy.
