Heyo,
I did something stupid, and need a remedy.
There's a story to this, but I'll cut to the chase: I installed a program on my computer called Spector. It's a keylogging program (that also takes screen captures every so often) on my new MacBook. I don't want it on my computer, but I don't know how to delete it.
It doesn't have an application icon or anything, it opens when you enter a predefined key sequence. Once it's open, there is an option to uninstall it, but the application remains (apparently, uninstalling it only deletes the screen captures, empties the keylogger, and resets it to the default opening key sequence).
Since it basically runs as spyware, I thought maybe something like adaware might be able to detect and delete it, but I'm not sure if anything like adaware exists for mac.
Any help in getting rid of the program would be much appreciated.
