    "Extravaganzicon" Contest

Everything about this contest was picked by the RPG Maker community, including the name.

basically, it's a repeat of the Anything Goes contest, except games already on the site are not allowed. make whatever type of game you want, for RPG Maker 1, 2, 3, or XP. Submit it to the site by November 1st.

How will a winner be picked? how many winners will there be? what will the prize be? all of that will be decided by the community upon completion of the contest. the prize will not be a physical prize, but a trophy icon that will be shown in the upcoming "trophy room" section of the contest page.

To enter your game in the contest, reply to the "Entries" topic in the contest forum with the title of your game (only after submitting it to the site), and what RPG Maker its for.

for XP entries, upload it to a site like yousendit.com, and PM me the link to it.

          Valk,
I'm new to the community and I am creating a game I hope to submit.
I'm just looking for clarification on the guidelines.
I know you said "anything goes," but I just want to make sure that
vulgarity, profanity and strongly sexual language will not be looked down upon.
Am I correct in assuming this?
I can clean up the dialogue a bit if this is not the case, but I like making my stories as true to life as possible ... and life often includes these three elements.
          Thanks--

              Re: "Extravaganzicon" Contest

Heh, Hippy Hunt 2 was the most awesomely vulgar games I've seen for RPG Maker 2, and it won the last contest.

              We don't restrain anything here.

I'm confused... the prize is going to be picked, but it's for sure going to be a icon? Wha...?

I guess all will be clear on (+/-) nov. 1st, but that part there confuses me.

Is this contest still going on as scheduled? With your recent problems, Valk, I was just wondering.
