    New RPG Maker

I've been meaning to mention this for a while (a few months, actually. but I forget stuff easily, as you all know). There's a new RPG Maker out right now. In Japan. For mobile phones. Aw, I made you all upset with that last part, right? Ha ha, yeah.

    http://www.enterbrain.co.jp/tkool/mobile_rpg/index.html

You make the game on your PC, and then it can be played on a mobile phone. Pretty cool, eh? It uses a modified RPG Tsukuru 2000 engine. See some games made with it here.

I'd love to see something like this implemented for the PSP, like From Software's Adventure Player (which also lets you create a game on your PC, which is then played on a PSP). Wouldn't you?

And the new filter. Now my sig has no impact on the impressionable minds of the Pavilion!

Darn it, why must the cellphone be a seemingly popular gaming device in Japan (Pokemon Crystal even took advantage of them!) and not here in the US??

Oh well, it probably sucks anyway. Yes, I know what "denial" means.

If anyone is interested in creating games for the PSP using Windows, you might want to look at:

                  www.adventuremaker.com

They have a program for download (FREE-must pay for more features) that can be used to create some pretty cool games on the PSP.

Not peddle another company's product 'cause...

RPG MAKER 2 IS THE GREATEST!
                  WOO HOO!

Adventure Maker is just a less powerful rip-off of From Software's Adventure Player though.

Yup. It's a shame they've scrapped the US port of RPG Maker Advance...I
might get the Japanese release one day, just to see...what I'm missing...or
                      maybe not.

You're probably not missing enough to not be able to trade games with people here.

as far as I know, there was never any US port of the GBA RPGM to scrap in the first place. Agetec never even considered it because of how complicated sharing games was.
