If I have a locked door 1 in one dungeon, and a locked door 1 in another dungeon will the same key open both of them? This is a very silly question but I don't have time to test it and was just curious as to what the answer is.

Yes, as long as they are set to the same key. I,e, while you name the key whatever you want, as long as it is classified as a key "A", then it will open all doors set unlockable by type "A" keys.
