    Name for a disease...

    Hello everyone I just started the thread for my new game "A Remedy (working title)" it can be found here. The problem is a lot of people seem to dislike the name I choose for the disease, "Aerostigma". I myself am not to exited with the name so I thought I'd let people from the forum suggest some names for it ^^ I want a serious, somewhat logical name for the disease, it primarily spreads through the air and results in a red rash of sorts on the skin and slowly kills the recipent of the disease. If you think you have a good name for it, please, post it and I'll choose one that I think is best.

    A name for a disease that spreads through the air? I can think of a few.

    Pregnancy, aids, super aids, diareah.... Thats to name a few.

    If anything I suggest at least changing the "stigma" part, its quite obvious where you got that idea from.

      Aerostysis...just a suggestion. Whatever name you pick, you would be wise to stick with the aero part of the word.

        I never got stigma from AC... a stigma is just a rash or spot on the skin that can be caused by illness. I knew what a stigma was long before AC was ever even though up.

        If you have any idea's at all, even if you think they sound wierd post 'em, I need as many ideas as I can get.

            I can't think of much right now. How about, plaga carmesí? Not exactly original, but it was all I could think of at the time. Its spanish for Crimson Plague.

                Your grammar is kind of like a disease. Name it after yourself.

                      Though I don't really see anything wrong with your grammar, you could still name it after yourself: "Aero[string] Complex" or "[string]'s Disease" cuz that's how a lot of diseases nowadays should be named... (Avian Bird Flu: When Originality Fails)
                      You could even name it after someone in the game for a more "original" feel! Like the doctor/scientist/medical worker/shaman who first notices that its going on, or even the first/most well known victim, ala "Lou Gherrig's Disease"
                      My vote goes to: "Government" ...there's no disease more deadly than being controlled by someone you never heard of.

                        I like that idea, but I'm still not sure what to name it :/

                        Does anyone know how to say "Invisible poison" in latin? or "poison air?" thanks ^^
