What a crock of ****.
I already have those collections on PS1.
But I do not care for 194X. Why can't they do compilations of the REAL things people want to get?
Because of licensing agreements with companies ,there is no way in hell anyone is going to see the Capcom arcade classics like Dungeons and Dragons and Alien versus Predator.
This is actually old news..
And that's the way it is.
but only if they corrected the spelling errors in BOF2.
Spelling errors? That game had a much bigger translation problem than just spelling errors. Grammer mistakes, mispunctuation, a few points where you can't tell who's talking (one or two points it seemed to say one person was talking when it was actually someone else)... If they did a port or remake, they'd also need to retranslate some of the item and spell names. Darn space limit in the original. At least the game was still decent.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
I never got that far in the original. I don't remember what happened in the new version either, though. It might've been fixed, as the translation in the PS1 version was completely redone.

Yeah. In my opinion, the PSX translation is the only good translation of FF2/4, the original SNES version had one of the most terrible translations ever. BOF2 is number 1 when it comes to the worst, though.
I take that back, the fan translation I have of FF4 is even better than Squaresoft's retranslation. Especially the opening, it actually makes sense.
