Phantom wet spot

So I just noticed this wet spot in my apartment on the carpet. Xeno soaked it up w/ some paper towels, but it keeps reappearing! It's like, cold water. What the hell could it be?

Maybe a pipe exploded under the floor? What floor apartment are you in? Where is the spot?

Maybe you have a ghost. And he's thristy. But every time he tries to get a drink of water if just falls through him onto the floor.

If you're on the bottom floor, maybe a water main blew and there's a crack in the floor right there.

I know when we had a lot of rain here a lot of basements got flooded, including my own, and the water just kept coming until the rain stopped.

Kire, if you are on a ground floor on a cement foundation, it is called a slab leak, and be prepared to spend some money. You are better off re-routing, so that a leak wont appear there again. but check the more obvious things first, such as a leak from above or spill, or something.
