    Just a small question...

First, I would like to say that even though I am new here, I've been reading a lot of posts and everyone is so helpful! On any other forum, flames would be rampant all over the place. So, I guess I just wanted to say thanks for everyone's help!

Okay, enough of that, and on to the question... I can't for the life of me figure how to continue an event into another map/inside a house to outside. For example, in a house, a Storyteller ends and the music changes. When I leave, the music remains that of the town and does not continue from the music used during the event.

If anyone could help, that would be great!

Let me see if I can help:
First off, I'm assuming you have all the variables and such in place for the event.
So then, you use the change BGM event to, lets say, Dark Castle. Then, after all the other nessacary events were done, use modify mode on an invisable event outside the house. Set the day AND NIGHT event codes to "Change BGM: Dark Castle". Set the activation method to always and you should be set! Let me know if this works (I generally use take over for events like this.)
Also, I'd just like to say it's great to see a literate newbie in the RPGM forums.

Only characters have day and night scripts, and only standard events can be set to go automatically.

Also be sure to make a change mode event in the outdoors event as well, otherwise the system will become caught in an infinite loop and send you back to the title screen.

You may also wish to look at the town settings (modified through the property control codes). I think there's an option there to change the town's music.

        Okay, great. Thanks, you guys.

I'll try both out today and see if they work, which I'm sure they will.

Also, thanks for the comment, hito.
