It was Back to the Future, the book based on the movie. I was about ten, maybe a little younger and I thought it was dumb even then. I got rid of it after a few chapters. At the time I still had Little Golden Books from pre-school on my bookshelf that embarrassed me less. Howzaboutyou?

I also remember worlds of power... I had the Simon's Quest "book." I didn't really care for it, so I didn't get the rest.
I think I still have "ultimate NES tips and tricks volume II" somewhere... most of it wasn't that great, but some of the codes were helpful.Last edited by Nixon; 06-22-2006, 04:54 PM.Eat Smello.

I'm ashamed to admit that I read Men in Black when the movie came out. Ugh. I mean... ugh.http://www.brandonMdennis.com

I just had to make sure this was for real:Spaceballs: The Novel
Spaceballs: The Book
(And it only costs $.01!)
Myself? Well, there are those Pokemon and Kirby comics that Nintendo Power had. It's not so bad when other comics have issues based directly off of the TV series, but Nintendo had a much better track record with awesome comics like Super Mario Adventures and Super Metroid. I mean, each Kirby comic was essentially half of the TV episode, and both the Pokemon and Kirby comics wound up being weeks and months behind the airing of the episodes they were based-- I mean copied off.
I suppose there was also the Captain Panet comics. I didn't buy any past the first two issues, which were also directly based off the TV series (right down to the "moral" at the end)."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
