    Futurama = BEST SHOW EVER

    So I went and bought all four seasons on DvD, have watched them far too often to admit, and have come to the conclusion that Futurama beats every single animated show ever conceived (with South Park coming in at a close second). Upon my discovery that the show was canceled, I curled up into the fetal position and wept like an ugly kid on prom night until the gnomes that live under my bed came and gave me solace.

    My life has been turned upside down on numerous occasions upon hearing that the show was going to return, only to find out that it was a hoax, and then find out that there would be a strait to DvD movie, only to find out that the movie has been postponed... and from there the story gets so jumbled that I don't know what to think. So then, does anyone have any secret knowledge as to the status of Futurama, whether it will be resurrected or not, and in what form? I need to know people! The lives of many tiny animals are at stake!

        I love Futurama, there is so much smart humor in that show.

        As for its Futurama's "Future". It looks alot brighter than to say... Megas XLR's future. It just one day went off the air like it never existed.

          I didn't make it to the bunker Mora. Should explain a lot.

            I loved Futurama, but don't think it is the best animated show ever. I'm quite picky on what I title "the best." So far nothing has got that title from me.

              with early simpsons, south park, family guy, ren and stimpy, aqua teen, etc etc. It's hard for me to say futurama is the best, but it's definately good.

                I've always loved Futurama! I got all the seasons on DVD and I've watched them all twice, at least, just from the DVD's. That's not counting all the times I've seen repeats on Adult Swim.

                  Of all those shows Garr mentioned Futurama has the best balance of character and humor. I mean, relationships actually expand and grow in the show. I suppose the same thing happens in South Park and Aqua Teen but to the extent of Fry's and Leela's romance?

                  I don't think so.

                  Last night, the Harlem Globetrotters episode was on. That ending...

                    That ending was a bit of a bummer. Poor Fry...

                      I was always partial to the ending of the 7 leaf clover episode.

                        Fry's dog episode makes me feel terrible.

                          Yes.

                          Frys dog and the clover always make me sad.

                            The clover one takes the cake. I shed a tear for Fry.

                            And Al Gores apperances always made me laugh.
