Anyone know what it feels like when your appendix is going to burst?

serious question. I'm having a lot of pain and gurgling in my stomach, really sharp throbbing pain. where the hell is the appendix anyways? the gurgling feeling is coming from my left side.

just wondering if I should rush off to urgent care or something, or just shrug it off as a really painful stomach ache.

This has been going on for a while now, but its getting more frequent lately. so I figured I'd ask.

The spleen is like the liver I guess. It filters blood, though.

actually, the spleen is not a necessary organ for survival, and neither is the appendix. the spleen is part of the lymphatic system, and it filters blood. think of it as a large lymph node. the appendix doesn't do anything...it is an accessory organ left over from whatever we evolved from. theyobviously had some use for it, but we do not.

Your whole stomatch would hurt if it exploded (trust me) not sure if it just gets infected. Do what the doctors at the hospital do. have someone push down on your stomach for a few seconds then release. if it hurts like somone is drilling in your stomach then you may have a pendisides. Gawd I hated that doctor....

Or you can wait 3-4 days and if you dont croke then you're most likely ok.

Yeah if you have a pendisides you will die. Unless treated. For a useless organ it is dangerous.
