    Asylum Obituaries (poem)

Wrote it about a month ago while in Geometry...

Hollow eyes weeping their emptiness pouring to shattered false hope on the ground. Silent screams threatening invisible foes all around. She was locked up in a soft white room, safe from the world outside. Shivering violently from a fake cold surrounding her as she cried. They'd never free her from her padded prison, fearing what she had become. Stuck in worlds of oblivion, mental illness still waiting to be overcome. Medicine proved to be useless in her unfortunate case. They said she'd just wither away at some untimely pace. Unable to be helped and refusing a savior. Monitors tracing a worsening behavior. She'd sit and she'd tear at the tainted flesh covering her. The existence of a monster would finally be over. They'd find her in a bloody mess on the ground. But no one would miss the life no longer around. Erase records so her existence would hide. Welcome death's grip with arms open wide. Another padded prison, six feet down in the earth.
