    China ruins everything - this time: DS Lites "missing"

    Europe may be a little short on its stock of the black-colored Nintendo DS Lite when the system is released there on June 23.

    A metal shipping container, which held both the handheld systems and various DS games, went missing in Hong Kong during its journey from a Chinese manifacturing plant to European shores. The contents of the container are reportedly worth over 2.3 million U.S. dollars.

    Hong Kong police have offered a reward of $128,000 (U.S.) to anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of the missing merchandise.

        So THATS why DS Lites appeared in the Navy Exchange stores 2 weeks early...

        Seriously though, we sailors are a bunch of dorks. Let it be known that your shores are protected by some of the top ranking Halo 2 and Half-Life players as well as the #1 purchasers of PSPs and Nintendo DSs outside of Japan.

            Training revolves around Object Oriented programming especially when working on missiles and radars. That, and we dock in Thailand and Japan which sells this stuff for dirt cheap.

            Plus, we need something to counteract the stereotype people have of the service. Ask anyone what they think of when you say military and they'll tell you some dude with a buzzcut in camoflauge... as if the Army is the only service.

            But back on topic, I'm angry they didn't release the black DS Lites with the US batch. I like black colored consoles the best.

                  Training revolves around Object Oriented programming especially when working on missiles and radars.
                  Do they teach you about frequency-modulated CW radar, delay-line cancelers, range-gated doppler filters, sequential lobing, magnetron oscillators, Klystron amplifiers, correlation detection, and other fun stuff?
