    Commence nervous breakdown in 5, 4, 3, 2...

I was informed over the phone just now that next friday will be my last day employed as a daycare worker person. why? just general cutbacks. they're trying to save money, and I can't really fault them for that. but I can and do fault them for choosing me over the skater-tard they hired two weeks ago who called an 8 year old girl a "tart" on tuesday. "oh, he's just playing around, its nothing" the parents said. I guarantee that girl's getting raped before the summer is over.

So... the paul is ****ed by the world once more, and what a glorious ****ing it is. I actually liked this job, and looked forward to work every single day. and I had all sorts of plans for the money I was gonna make this summer, like get a DS lite, save up for the Wii launch, various transformers, paying for groceries for the month that my dad isnt getting a check... yeah, none of that matters as long as the 19 year old pedophile can mack on 8 year olds.

that's ridiculous. why keep someone on who's considerably less adept at the job when you have much more experience AND a predilection for girls over the age of eighteen?

      Blast. That is a pickle.

      Better jumpstart the job-hunting.

And get some pliers for the skate-tard's manpiece.

I don't understand the significance of the word tart?

the kids seem to like the new guy a lot more than me. probably because he looks like every stereotypical emo-skater-bastard thats all over TV these days. I'm guessing thats got a lot to do with it.

Well, the most important thing to save for still is the groceries. Maybe you should look for another daycare place? They always need hands around the summer months when there's no school.

Man, they couldn't even tell you in person? That's pretty weak. Hopefully your previous experience will help you find something similar.

                  Experience > Looks

What bastards, oh well, their loss. You'll find another job, just never give up.

Sure, the world has just screwed you over, again as it may seem, but remember tomorrow's another day and there's still many opportunities out there for ya.

What the hell? If they had a better idea, they would've forseen the necessary cutbacks, in which case they wouldn't have even hired a new guy. Right? I mean, that's balls.

                    Sorry.

I agree. I'm sorry, Valk, that really sucks. However, since you've been so good with these kids and you have the experience, as Nixon said, it hopefully should be enough to help net you a similar job. Good luck, man.

I'm going to start job hunting tomorrow. but at the same time, I'm gonna try making the new guy quit or get fired every way I can. because if he goes, I likely get to stay.

That sounds crappy, Valk. Don't let yourself get too down, though. Use that reference, as Rena suggested, to get a new job before it's associated with the massive Sk8er Pedophilia Scandal/Suicide of Summer 2006.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.

Yeah, daycare is one of those fields that isn't often pursued. You can use that to find a new job in the field.
