    Aw, J.J.!

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2...ory?id=2482061

One of the new potential great white hopes in Basketball (the other is That '70's guy), got busted on drunken driving. I find this pretty dispicable, but people make mistakes...even if it's potentially deadly. Well, hopefully he won't do it again, and could possibly be the next Brian Urlacher...except skinnier...and look like a Beatle.

Crap, I say that about all white guys in the NBA.

There is an oft repeated argument that if weed were legal, it would take the place of alcohol for many people.

Stoned drivers are much safer than drunken drivers. Various studies have tried to gauge the effects of heavy marijuana intoxication while behind the wheel. The variation tyends to be that driving stoned is roughly equivalent to driving with a BAC of anywhere from .05 to .08%, below the legal limit.

Best of all, intoxication from marijuana wears off anywhere from 1 to 3 hours for most people. Alcohol? Sleep on it...

I'm sure to most athletes, a life of sports without beer would be like river rafting without cascades.

JJ is undersized for a shooting guard in the NBA.

            I hope he bombs.

Drunk driving is fine as long as you're famous. That's what I've gathered from the media, at least.

Umm...people shouldn't be driving while on any drugs.

True, but saying people won't is unrealistic. It's kinda like the clotheshanger effect when you ban abortion.
