I need a BS story to trade in my DS

So I still have the DS Phat, but I have a replacement plan...which means if I can say it's defective in some way, I can get a Lite, no charge. My bf said he was having a hard time w/ the screen, so that worked for him and he traded it for no charge.

What should I say to Best Buy so I can get the Lite free?

just say the touch screen isnt responding right.

if I'm not mistaken, some best buy replacement plans cover damage caused by the owner as well. if yours coveres that, take it back with a screwdriver rammed through the upper screen.

Well you could do like Valk says and complain about the touch screen. You could even recalibrate it to be intentionally goofy. So long as they do not check this, it could appear to be a legitmate fault.

If you refridgerate your DS (yes) you'll temporarily stunt the battery life.

I got one from Gamestop because my Mario Kart DS had a dead pixel in the screen. a little smooth talking got me the Mario Bros. bundle.

Yeah, because I'm not particularly optimistic AT ALL about walking into a Best Buy with my old DS telling them "Hey this don't work" and getting a new DS Lite SOMEHOW.

THAT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
