I got a regular DS. Unless I could trade it in for a free Lite. no since getting just smaller, brighter version.

I was all on-board for trading in my normal DS and getting a lite. but I can't do it. I've grown too attached to my DS, and I honestly do prefer the look of the old model over the lite.
I'll buy a lite later on, in addition to my normal DS. at least then I'm always equipped for multi-player games.

GBA dust cover (will that fit in a normal DS, by the way?) too.
I've heardsome people say that the sound doesnt get all static-y and poppy on certain volume levels as well, but I've also heard people say that the problem is still there.

The buttons are less "clicky" and rounded. I don't know about anybody else but the buttons on the old DS start to hurt my thumbs after playing Mario Kart for a while.
The battery life is almost double at the lowest brightness (which is the same as the orig DS brightness) and about the same at the highest brightness. In addition, the screens never wash out in the sun, if you crank up the brightness enough.
The dust cover can't fit in the original DS due to an extended piece of plastic on it.
