So just to be completely clear...

Theres absolutely NO other way to make 'cut scenes' as in RPGM1 except Storyteller?

if so, why'd they take that out? even RPGs on NES have at least basic cut scenes, not just conversations.

(sorry if this is a duplicate question, but forum kids are way too anal about repeat questions anyway)

nope, no way to do it. I guess "Move Event/Move Character" commands were too complex for the new team that did 3.

That is one of the reasons why I abandoned RPGM3 and moved back to RPGM2.

They are not fully fledged RPGM2 Cinematics, but they count as Cut Scenes! 3 will never approach 2 for that (or Anything really!).

        I think they work though...

        You be the judge!

        Peace.

        MOO!

Still, I'm going to be using RPGM2, where I can at least make a decent looking map relatively easily (seriously, I hate RPGM3s Map Editor). Of course, as far as RPGM3's concerned, I don't think Storyteller is so bad, I like it, sort of.

i love storyteller, i just dont think it should REPLACE cutscenes.

i'd planned to make a 3d version of my RPGM1 story, but alas, i cannot, but there is quite a bit of NPC movement lol

                Thanks!

An insane game is my goal!

                It is fitting for RPGM3.

I am still a devotee of RPGM2, but I bought 3 and will eventually finish something for it!!

                MOO!
