Believe it or not, hands-on reports say SE-developed Mario Basket 3-on-3 is very good. Even Tycho loved it when he tried it. Granted, he's super-high on the DS, but still, that's significant.Last edited by RPGD; 06-10-2006, 08:05 AM.

Anybody else wondering what's with the kooky backgrounds of Super Paper Mario?"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Super Paper Mario looks like a big-time potential platforming ace. I was wondering where the "Evolution" everyone was expecting from NSMB went. Paper Mario already has an honorable position as arguably the very best GC RPG/Mario RPG with The Thousand Year Door, so why not another one on the platforming front?
It's times like these that I'm really, really glad Wii is so backwards compatible.Last edited by RPGD; 06-10-2006, 03:37 PM.

Wish I could say it had plenty of competition.Paper Mario already has an honorable position as arguably the very best GC RPG/Mario RPG with The Thousand Year Door"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Yea, seriously but ever since Squaresoft had their hands dipped in the franchise Mario + RPG has turned out to be one of the best genre cross-overs. I remember seeing Mario RPG in Nintendo power more than 10 years ago and my elementary school mind said "how can they turn mario into final fantasy???" Man, what a game that was.Originally posted by DraygoneWish I could say it had plenty of competition.
Mario RPG's are also very absurd (anyone else find the infatuation between Peach and Super Computer a bit disturbing?) and I love the 2D "BEHIND THE BACK" aspects of some of SPM's levels. It's a 2D sidescroller viewed from behind... no wonder why you can see the "coding" (those floating symbols in the sky).
