    Escaflown-YAY!!! *spoilers*

I just finished watching the entire series (did not watch the movie because it didn't come with the set I bought).

    I LOVED it!

I felt like a little japanese girl the entire time.

I really liked Hitomi. I know she had to go back to Earth and all but I was like NO STAY WITH VAN PLZ OMG!!!!

Dryden was really cool too. He was definitely a sweet sub-character.

Moleman reminded me of Hammer from Xenogears.

I really like Alan Schezar and felt bad that he didn't really have a love outside of his sister. He could bang tons of babes but all of his loves were forbidden.

    Balgus kicked ass.

Prince Chid! Oh man! That kid was the coolest. They could totally do a show about him.

Dilandau was great. He was so ludicrously bloodthristy I couldn't help but love him. And his love for his commrades was awesome. The twist with him being Allen's sister made sense but was weird at the same time. I was like WOAH!..........okay then.

Oh man, how could I forget Lord Folken. ****ing sweet. Those black wings? Pimp. When he turned against Old Man Fate-y McGee I was like BLOOOP take that *****.

Merle was great and stupid and awesome at the same time.

    Yeah. Great show.

Escaflowne is a blisteringly-paced fantasy wet dream.

      I thought that EXACTLY.

I loved it, but I was never sure about the whole Dilandau-Celena thing. That just seemed to solve things so easily (Down a bad guy, up a sister! It's win-win!!). Still, he's my favorite antagonist since Kefka.

I also love the ending. The Story of Escaflowne makes it so touching and beautiful...

I love the series but I found Hitomi annoying. Does that make any sense?

And there need to be more hot track runners as main characters.

My favorite aspects of the series:
              1.) The music
              2.) Dilandau
3.) The mecha (with capes!! and they transform into dragons!! and are gods!!)
4.) The climax when Van, wings spread, catches Hitomi and the music/chorus swells and my chest swells too because the music is too good oh my god if I could write a movie for Yoko Kanno it would be her running through airports as her music plays making life decisions Zach Braff I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GARDEN STATE IS A GREAT MOVIE
              5.) Hitomi :3
