They sell one new item every day, starting at 12am central time. Usually nerdy stuff.

But a woot-off is when they have a bunch of things to sell, and after each item sells out a new item goes up right away. Its pretty special. Usually theres a new item every 10 minutes or so, but sometimes a crappy one gets stuck up for a couple of hours.

Come on, I can't be the only loser here who checks Woot at midnight every night..?

Its pretty much a grab bag, you never know whats in it. It's 99 cents an item, and you can buy a max of 3, which everyone does.

They'll put up like 4500 of them if they are being sold (which doesn't happen very often) and they'll be sold out in under 3 minutes. Its kind of ridiculous.

My last bag contained:
-A book called "Dear Valued Customer: You are a Loser"
-A Samsonite Camera holder
-A protective case for 3rd gen iPods
-A casstte adapter / car charger for iPods
