Playable Character

Hi I'm brand new to this game but not to programming so I know alot of how things work on this already, but here's one question that I do have..

Is it possible to start the game as one character (when running around the world) and at one point switch that character to another? Like say you start the game as a little kid. Then later he grows up and you change it to a different, older version of his self.

Is this possible, and if so then how?

yes this is pretty quite simple once you read all of the event codes in the manual, or even on the game
