    I wish I could...

    Hi everyone on this site!This is my very first post and so I introduce myself...sort of.Anyways...I can't come up with a good title for any of the games I am making on RPGM1 or 3.Anyone have any sugestions?Oh!The storylines are clitche I think...the elements, something about ultimate power,the evil guy dies revealing a new evil guy...he dies...so on and so on...lol

    Welcome to the pavilion. You'll like it here.
    Lots of knowledgeable people...not to mention a variety of threads.
    As far as game titles go, well these could lead to non-cliche plots. (Please note that only 1 of the 4 do I really think would make a cool title. I'll let you guess which one.)

      Other than wishing that I could make a good title, I wish that I could upload and download games made by the RPGM.My computer is too slow for a download and I don't actually know how to upload...sorry about the upload comment, but I didn't check very much on this site when I first got on...

        Thanks!I hope to enjoy this site as well.I might not be allowed back on when report cards come out lol.Those are some nice titles.Sorry if it seems i'm responding ridiculously slow, but i'm using dial-up on a windows 98...not very fast.lol.That response was 30 times faster than IGN.

            The reputation points are just a fun way to keep meaningless track of how people react toward you on here. They're just for fun. The little guy, when you put your mouse on him, will have a different message depending on your reputation. The more you post and the better the reputation you have, the more little guys (goblis, they're called from RPG Maker 1) and cooler messages you'll get. Check in your user CP.

            By the way, people tend to look down on double-posting. So, usually, the process is, you post something, then someone else posts something. Anyway, at this point this topic has changed from your original intent, so here are some more possible game titles.

              Let me give you a heads up. You can get in trouble for double posting. If you want to add something to what you have already said, most forums have an edit command. Use it to edit your posts.

                Even with dial-up, the downloads here shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

                  And by the way, you're right, Draygone. I have dial-up also. The last game I downloaded from this site was about a minute and a half to download. Not bad for dial up.

                    Sorry about that...That was actually like a triple post.ouch.This reply page actually took 2 minutes to get to. and I unfortunately have another question...I'm not sure how to make a character respond differently after you get certain items in a created game.I accidently made it to where a character can join your team before you get the item to get him to join the team...How can I fix this?(sorry if this is the wrong place for this post)

                      For RPG Maker 3:
                      Well Mustacio, create a new event for him/her to join with a treasure item set as the condition. For example, your party finds the "stone of Samuel" and then goes to a stone pillar. At the stone pillar (which has as a condition being in possession of the Stone of Samuel) have the party insert the Stone of Samuel and then script the code so that the new party Member (Samuel) is added.

                      You could also use variables, but that would require a lot more detail.

                      You're right. This thread is changing into an RPG Maker Workshop thread.

                      One thing that you may find interesting and helpful Mustacio is going bottom of the RPG Maker Worshop section and searching the threads from the beginning.

                        Ya.I've been told by a great number of people that I tend to go off topic quickly and often...Thanks for the help!I'll try to use that to fix the glitch.He still joins to early...oh well.Oh!I tried to download a game and...um...20 minutes min. even though the clock on the download time said 30 min.

                          That sounds long. What game was it? I know some downloads include more than just the game.

                            The game was Centurion from the RPGM3 game list.I could try an RPGM1 download later and see if it takes less time...

                              Hmm, that took me about 20-30 seconds to download with high-speed access. I knew the difference in speed was big, but this is rediculous.
