These following three were done with acrylics, watercolours, a thin oil paints wash, and coloured pencils. X_X It took some getting used to, and at first I was really scared to do the wash with oils, but in the end I grew to like this technique.
These following two were done with watercolours and a gouache touch-up, and I covered the piece in ageing and cracking varnish (much more evident in the former, as that's what gives the yellowish tinge). I...err...can count on one hand how many times I've painted with watercolours (the first time I tried them, I applied them so thickly that the piece looked like it was done with acrylics). Maybe I'll get used to them eventually.
Thanks goes out to Loki for inspiring the narwhal idea. :b
