I really liked Unbreakable. What was even better was I went to see it and I had no idea what it was going to be about.

Unbreakable was a very interesting attempt to stretch the first act of a standard super-hero movie out over one entire movie. This isn't just my interpretation, M.Night said that it was kind of designed to be a trilogy.

As for Heroes, it's getting good buzz. We'll see what happens.

But sci fi dramas have had a resurgence of interest lately, so who knows.

I always wanted to see a TV series set after a bunch of people get superpowers but the show focuses on regular cops, firemen, military personnel etc having to deal with the low level supervillains while all the super heroes are off beating the world conquering megalomaniac types. It'd be like NYPD Blue but the crooks shoot fireballs and fly and stuff.

So who's watching the premiere or already downloaded and watched it before? It's a little boring since all the interesting parts were in the previews. I wonder what the explanation will be for why all these people discovered their powers around the same time.
