    Opera

    Not the web browser.
I recently watched Richard Wagner's Parsifal again, and realized just how magnificent it is.

Are any of you fans of opera? I feel as if I am alone in this regard. D:

    Re: Opera

That opera is a metaphor for Mary Magdalene and the lost sacred feminine.

Yeah, Kundry is especially - and in Hans-Jurgen Syberberg's interpretation of it, he MAKES PARSIFAL FEMALE halfway through

Its this perfect marriage of germanic portrayal of Christ as warrior king and feminine redemption. I love it.

        Re: Opera

i love opera music and id love to see a show of it sometime. i am not sure, but i think the phantom of the opera clasifys as an opera - but i saw it and loved it. this is perhaps why ff6 was such a smash hit with me, not to mention several other scores from different operas.

Thank you Ωbright for the sig fix!
