    Capcom FTWii

    http://igo.ampednews.com/platform/xbox360/news/3317/

While Devil May Cry fans have been enjoying their Sony-exclusive action series for years now, it appears that the trend may soon be broken.

In a recent interview with Famitsu, Devil May Cry producer, Hiroshi Kobayashi revealed that despite earlier remarks about DMC4 being PS3 exclusive, he expects Dante to make his debut on the Xbox 360 and Revolution as well.

Keiji Inafune: PlayStation 3, probably the target audience that's going to purchase the PlayStation 3, uh, it's
going to be people with a lot more money, and maybe it would not be the most suitable, uh, platform for the
    Mega Man series.

    Sean: I agree.

Keiji Inafune: However, the Wii definitely has some potential, and it's maybe one where our target audience
could embrace the Mega Man series. So while we haven't planned anything specific now at this time, I think
probably that the potential is the highest on that piece of hardware.
Also, looks like RE on Wii is a GS game.

So...the knife will not be an available weapon this time?

The funniest part about this is when I heard Wii was getting a Resident Evil game, I said "watch, it's another crappy Gun Savior game."

On the other side of the coin, I think Megaman done right for the Wii could be awesome...but Capcom's Megaman track record hasn't been so hot lately, especially when it comes to 3D. I hope they pull through though.

Actually, capcom's been kicking ass with Megaman lately. X8 was a return to glory for the series, and MMPU and MHX are two of the best PSP games in existence.

I didn't know X8 was good, and MMPU and MHX do look mighty awesome. How good and powerful is the level editor? I really wanna give that a shot.

                    Re: Capcom FTWii

                    MMPU's level editor is great.

Prepare for massive block of text.

the grid you make your stage on is 8 screens high, and 15 screens across. you can use as much or as little of the area as you want. you select a scenery pack (which are found in-game, or downloaded from Megaman Web), and an enemy pack for your stage and go to work. you can make your stage however you want. you have access to conveyors, ladders, spikes, dissapearing platforms, block generators, blocks that can only be destroyed by certain weapons, electrical beams, water jets, flame jets, pendulums, switches that make blocks appear/dissapear, and you have access to tons of enemies from Megaman 1 and 2, along with one from 3. You can use any of the bosses for the end of your stage, and can assign up to 10 playable characters for your stage. It never gets old.

the game also has a built-in interface for uploading and downloading created stages to and from capcom's server, and capcom releases special promotional stages, new scenery packs, and new outfits for roll every thursday night (selection varies based on the week).

Everyone with a PSP needs to own MMPU.

Interestingly, Capcom is THE reason why I'm even interested in the PSP. Now if I had the money, I'd go out and get one. And both those Megaman games.

Sounds to me like someone needs a PSP again... huh Kire?

Seriously, if you like Mega Man, you will like MMPU and MHX.

MMX8 was "a return to glory"? Looks like I'm gonna have to buy it, I saw it used for $20.

Powered Up is the reason I want a PSP so badly. I've always loved everything done with the Megaman series, same with Sonic. it's easy for me to show the series that I grew up with my blind devotion.

i think capcom and nintendo make a great combination. i like when their names are side by side for some reason.. they seem cut from the same mold.
