    Microsoft Press Conference

    Everyone hates Microsoft but me.

    For those who don't know, the Halo 3 preview was in engine.

    ANYway, the integration of PC/360 compatability is going to make customizing 360 games w/ the PC a reality. I think that's pretty sweet.

    I also think it's pretty sweet that they have 100 independant companies contracted coming up w/ original content for X-Box Live Arcade. I can't wait to see the next batch of innovative garage games pop up on the 360. Live Arcade is fantastic for the industry.

    Hironobu Sakaguchi (the father of Final Fantasy) has Blue Dragon coming out in Japan soon and another one coming up quickly following that.

    Of course the biggest deal is the games, and I've already mentioned I'm all about GTA4, Halo 3, Fable 2, Alan Wake, Too Human, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Lost Planet, F.E.A.R., and Lumines.

    That's all I got. Discuss.

    Nomura isn't the father of Final Fantasy.

    But I agree, I'm really excited about MS's stuff this year...


    but didn't you sell your 360?

      My bad, I meant Hironobu Sakaguchi, the guy responsible for Final Fantasy 1 through 9.

      I did sell my 360, but that's cuz I got back together w/ my bf and he already had a 360, so we sold his.

            I'm looking forward to Lost Planet, Blue Dragon, Bomberman Act: Zero and the Live Arcade content.

            I definitely have to hand it to MS, they're going out of their way to make things easier for developers. They deserve more attention than Sony.

            I expect Admiral Gate's S.S Windows to finish at either first or second this generation. Same expectations for Nintendo.

            I'm also happy to see that all three developers are using their download services for cheaper, simpler games from bright-eyed mini-devs. Well, at least the Marketplace and Virtual Console. Digital distribution is absolutely integral for the industry, since games have stupidly short shelf life.

            Here's hoping Monster Rancher ends up in MS land or the house that Yamauchi built.

              Actually, I'm indifferent to them. Not hopping for joy, and yet not comparing them to trash.

                Honestly...i'm just freaking annoyed as hell that Peter Moore keeps talking about GTA4 as being exclusive.

                ITS NOT EXCLUSIVE YOU IDIOT! Its coming to BOTH systems...or are you just freaking brain dead?

                  I think Viva Piñata is the coolest game they showed. Buying Rare is the best investment MS ever made for the Xbox.

                    Really? To most people, except port-box fan boys that was a crappy buy. Look at their portfolio ever since they where bought. Crappy to meh games at best.

                        I dont have any interest for xbox, because most of the games that come out will hit ps3 or pc. And the exclusive games like Halo, i could careless about(i rather play battlefield). Microsoft has yet to wow me into buying their system, however i will probly eventually end up buying a 360 after i own a Wii and PS3...just to own them all.

                          I swear I thought you was serious. You know how many people actually use that rare crap to make it sound like their system doesnt suck as much as it does?

                            I don't hate 360. I'm another who is talking about how the 360 looks the most interesting to me. Of course, this means that everyone is trying to show me how I'm WRONG, but still....

                              I am most excited for Fable 2, Prey, and Gears of War for the 360.

                              It really is nice to finally see some new Franchises coming out soon for the system.
