Qbasic help required.

So, I'm working on something DNA related with Qbasic. However, because of Hexadecimals, the base pair "CCG" is registered as "26G" and so on. How do I disable hexadecimals?

What editor and compiler are you using? Usually some editors have this option located inside the tool menu.
