    They're making a movie out of I Am Legend, but..

    It's starring Will Smith and being directed by the guy that made constantine.

    God. Damnit.

    One of my favorite books. If you haven't read it then you might not understand why the thought of Will Smith screaming witty one liners while fighting vampires makes me so depressed.
    "At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

    I only know of the book because of the White Zombie song. I guess I should read it before the film debuts.

      Yes, It's on par with Frankenstein and Robinson Caruso in it's portayal of human isolation, told against an understated post apocalyptic backdrop.

      Such a beautiful and quiet commentary on loneliness. Damn you Will Smith.

            Meh, I was disappointed with I Am Legend.
            The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
