Re: I thought we lived in an age of reason...
Didn't the ESRB hold off giving GTA 3.3 an AO rating because the "Coffee" deal might have simply been a mod? So why are they giving this game a higher rating even though it is a mod?
If anything, they should keep the game at a Teen rating and rate each individual mod.Last edited by ErikaFuzzbottom; 05-04-2006, 04:09 PM."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Im pretty sure Oblivion has the 'barbie' skins as a base (like Sims 1 and 2) and the nipples are added as part of the mod-skin.Originally posted by John MoraI'm sorry, but weren't the mods just unlocking what was already there?
This is rather ridiculous. Not just because of this needless rating change, but the modded breasts dont even look like real breasts...Last edited by Marc M.; 05-04-2006, 06:17 PM.

almost every game on the market that has multiple clothing options has nude skins, even FFX-2 has them (although that game uses them for "transformation" scenes). Without them, the developers would have to create an entire character model for every clothing option, including mixing and matching pants/shirts. with the nude base model, they just have to design the clothes/equipment and map them onto the existing model.

Re-rating games is not a bad thing. They just got free publicty and probably moved quite a few units because of it, just like GTA. It's a win-win siuation, and not that big of a deal.If you don’t like the Revolution controller, you are fundamentally part of the problem and killing the ****ing art form. ~Kieron Gillen

Agreed. We're pretty much going to have to live with this kind of stuff unless the country is invaded, occupied and the laws changed.Originally posted by IvaliceRe-rating games is not a bad thing.
