I need Nachos for my Libre?

Why is Jack Black in a movie about wrestling? No, that isn't the right question... Why is he a wrestler in it? I have no problem with him, but I honestly don't think he is fit enough to thumb wrestle. Nachos Libre seems like it will be a bit of a wierd movie. I predict this movie will flop. Oh God, he needs to keep his shirt on at all times.

It might be popular with a younger crowd. Like, under 10, I mean.

Are you serious? The question is why wouldn't Jack Black be in a movie about wrestling. Especially a movie about mexican wrestling. Especially a movie about a monk in Mexico who becomes a mexican wrestler to save orphans.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Im guessing neither of you (first two) have seen the trailer...? Sheesh.
Its from the same guy who directed Napoleon Dynamite, so im guessing it will do just fine (financially).
Whether or not it will be any good; cant say. Have to wait till I see it.

I just find it odd to see him wrestling because he is in no way fit enough. I know this kind of stuff is right up his alley, but seeing him shirtless and in those shorts makes me feel sick.

Marcman, I actually have seen the trailers.

Yeah, college campuses will drop their picketing and FLOCK to see it unfortunately.

              I'm sitting this one out.

I can't ****ing wait to see this! I like Jack Black. I LOVE Tenascious D. There, I said it, now screw you nay-sayers. I think this movie will be magical, no matter who directs it, as long as Jack Black is a mexican Luchador.

What did you think of Napoleon Dynamite?

And Jack Black's been in scores of bad movies already.

Napoleon Dynamite was a perfectly fine movie.
It just got way too over-quoted.

In Universe-B, where Magus is the President of the Canadian Union, he loves it. Im sure of it.

If this Magus is the one with the goatee does that mean he's evil-Magus?

I've liked Jack Black as an actor since School of Rock. I was pleasantly delighted by it. Envy is okay if it's 4am and you're watching HBO. I know because I've mined coal.

Nacho Libre looks kinda funny, haven't heard/sat through the trailer countless times it's beginning to grow on me, especially when he's like "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" for like 10 seconds

I very much enjoy Jack Black. I think this is going to be hilarious, he would make such a great luchador and hes so animated!

Not to mention I honestly think hes very sexy.

                            Yes.

And are you serious? Is it not the point that Jack Black is out of shape, and in no way shape or form should be a luchador that makes this movie a comedy? Was Will Ferrill too tall to be an elf? Was Billy Bob Thorton too skinny to be a mall Santa? Come on, honestly.

I'm really excited for this movie. it looks like it will be pretty funny. Jack Black is my favorite actor and I think the idea is pretty different, both for movies today and Jack Black.

I didn't mind Napoleon Dynamite at all. I still don't, even with people quoting it all the time. it was one of the most easily enjoyed movies I've seen in ages. it took absolutely nothing, other than watching it, to appreciate how genuine and and funny it was. say what you will, I think it's great.
