Forget it. Just forget it. New game idea!

This is impossible making a Dark Cloud clone...

    So...

    Why not a Castlevania clone?
So if that's the case i'll use Neonash's acbs.
Don't worry Neonash, i'll put you in my acknolegements.
Problem is though the music sucks!
I need custom castlevania style music.
    Can someone help?

    P.S.
I tend to change ideas easily so forgive me plz!

Making a Dark Cloud clone isn't impossible. Just hard. I don't see making a Castlevania clone much easier.

Clones can be interesting when made via RPGM2, but trying something new can be much better. Think about it. You don't need to do a bunch of complicated things to make a good game. Alot of simple things can be just as effective... sometimes even more. Best of luck to you.

That's okay, as long as you don't make new topics for them in matter of only a few days about your new ideas, then I'm fine with that.

Like I said before, take some time out and think about what you're going to do. Then come back if you have any questions. Now, if this is what you want to do, then I say go for it! But please, give it some thought.

I don't know, I know a few people here and at the Mag are excited over the idea of a certain Banjo-Kazooie clone's sequel.

I personally prefer originality, though sometimes it is more impressive to see a clone being perfectly made. It depends on what it is and how it is done.

A castlevania remake isn't too hard with RPG maker 3, I did it, but that doesn't help much I guess.

                  Okay Vessel of Jamos.
I'll make a game inspired by Castlevania instead.
But i'll probably feel stupid doing it though.

Where did this pic came from?It looks so familliar

I think you shouldn't let people make the big decisions for you. Make you want to make, accepting tips that'll make the game you want to make better, but keeping things you feel you don't want to change.

The pic came from the Ring.

I would just go with what you feel would be best or easiest on you.

Just take the time to get the feel of the maker, and measure your own abilities. You won't know unless you take the chance and try it. Even a mistakes are something you can learn from with making a game.

You might even discover something that will change the direction of your game completely.

I like when new comers appreciate the "emotes".

I also like Castlevania, so try to do it some justice.
Oh my god! You are so beautiful.
I had no idea how beautiful you were.
