Metal Slug Collection coming to Wii

There probably aren't many here who care about Metal Slug but, this is pretty cool news and perhaps a sign of things to come. SNK completely ignored the N64 and GameCube and released their games on Xbox and PS2. Maybe they'll start releasing games like KOF on Wii too.

I thought Metal Slug was fun to play, and the death animations were funny as hell.

They better do continues right, because not one port has not suffered because it had unlimited continues, or none at all.

there should be a setting for that. like "Easy" has unlimited continues and "Hard" has none and so on. in any case, cool!

yeah, i'm all for this. it's good news and a good sign. snk is one of the few 2d game developers left for consoles(wasn't samurai shodown V for xbox their most recent?). even though this is a collection and not a new game...

anybody play the metal slug games on ps2 or xbox? fun gameplay, but they go by too fast and don't last long enough. in their defense, they were designed for the arcade so people could get an action shooter fix in the shortest amount of time.

but yeah, i'd like to see a new, longer metal slug game someday. on a console!
