Appearantly, there are people that really liked the movie. I went into 4 different game stores looking to buy Silent Hill 2. I've seen it there in each a couple of weeks ago and week after that it was still in the same place. After the movie came out I guess everyone decided they had to buy every Silent Hill in the damn stores. Did the masses get so influenced by the movie they wanted all of the games? God I hope that isn't the case. In a way, I should be happy about this because that will help out Konami, which in turn will insure more Silent Hill games. I don't remember the Resident Evil games flying off the shelves when the RE movie came out, I could be wrong. This may be an omen of things to come or maybe that only happened in my area... but this has left me SH2 less. You once again slip out of my grasp. Now there is only one thing to make me feel better and that would be staring at Pyramid Head.

Hahaha, idiots on eBay are selling copies of the first two games for outrageous prices. I should've stocked up. I'm glad people are into the games, but this is silly.

I guess wait for the hype to die down and then find a used copy. I bought 1&2 used for about 10 dollars each, back when nobody cared.

I bought SH1 as a Greatest Hit after having originally played it as a rental. I got SH2 as a gift. All the others I've bought for their original price.

I'm still trying to find a copy of the PS2 Greatest Hits SH2 with the Restless Dreams and everything. I still have my XBox SH2 but I don't have the XBox anymore.

Panda, I have a feeling we are going to be out of luck for a while. Everyone has lost their minds because of the movie. I say a copy of Silent Hill 1 on eBay at around $66.00 and SH2 around $35. But if you want SH4 then there isn't much demand for that, you can find it for around $14... For some reason this seems backwards to me.

I've played SH2 a couple of years ago so I know how it is. I mainly wanted it for a bit of research. SH2 makes good use of symbolism to tale the story and add an atmosphere of its own. I need to play through it to refresh my memory, along with helping me find good ways to use symbolism for my game Sin. Also it feels wierd to have SH1 and 3 without 2 in between them.

I bought SH3 a few weeks ago. I still haven't played it. I have too many games already that I need to play.
