Um...I watched a few episodes, and found it interesting. But I don't have Toon Disney here. Or TV, for that matter.

umm Valk. I can undertand Transformers.
I can even understand bunny rabbits.
But you dont seem to me a Digimon fan.

Please tell me you are not a Digimon fan.

I enjoyed the first series, and haven't seen anything since then, with the exception of the premier of the third season (Digimon Tamers, right?)

Yeah, the first was my favorite, the second was pretty cool, and the one with the cards (tamers, I think) was bearable. But when they WERE the Digimon, I lost all faith.

Which one was it that they were the Digimon? I think I saw a bit of that one. The concept was interesting to me.

Yeah, I noticed this when I searched for old Digimon episodes. However, I never took the time to actually watch anything from Digimon Savers. Anyway, thanks for sharing Valkysas.

That would be Season Four, aka Digimon Frontier. The CONCEPT was interesting, but the series was a turd. Then again, I've always enjoyed the show for the friendships between the children and their Digimon, so the children BECOMING the Digimon really ruined it for me.

                    Edit: Speaking of ruining...

I sat through Episodes 2 & 3 of Savers tonight, and whoooo, boy. What a stench.

Not only does this show suck, it's laced with lame and it's pretty much a total mish mash of a bunch of different things stolen from other shows. Let's see: There's a strange fisherman who gave Masaru his Digivice, and he's appeared in every episode since. It reminds me of the guy in Puni Puni Poemi, who gave her the magical transforming fish. The members of DATS (which is the same acronym as the bus service for disabled people here in Edmonton... a funny coincidence, because all the people in this show ARE handicapped), have devices exactly like the ones in Men In Black, used for the purpose of wiping the memories of civilians who have seen stray Digimon. HMM. GEE, I WONDER.

Did you know that a random giant worm digimon can possess people? Well, they can. Yup.

Did you also know that the ONLY way Masaru can get Agumon to evolve is by punching whatever HUGE DIGIMON they happen to be fighting? I don't know a lot of 14-year-olds who can leap 30 feet into the air, do you? Of course not. Come to think of it, that's, I dunno... IMPOSSIBLE.

Then there's that fine piece of work, Touma Norstein (Nerdstein, as Masaru says!). He's a genius, naturally, so he graduated from the Royal University of Science at age 13, and he's an Austrian Prince. Did I mention he's half Japanese? So he's got the blonde hair and the blue eyes, but he's so totally in Japan being sexy. His first appearance in Episode 3 is in the shower. Naked teenager back, ladies and gentlemen. Not only this, but the women at DATS fawn over him, and he's an expert boxer who's defeated olympic champions. His Digimon, Gaomon, is unsurpassed in combat by any other Digimon, and all the thing ever says to Touma is "Yes, Master" in English. Damnit, I thought Gaomon would be cool, but he's some subserviant ***** to Mr. Fanservicezilla! In addition, Touma is cold, unfeeling, obsessed with tactics, and orders his Digimon around without batting an eyelash. In short: Touma = Ruki with penis, only "perfect".

                    Yes, it's all true.

This show is seriously the ultimate in ridiculous. I don't think there's any reason to watch any further. *nod*
