What toppings did you get on your last pizza?

I usually order from this delivery place near me that has this special deal...get this: A large 16" 2 topping pizza, 4 garlic breads with marinara sauce to dip them in, 2-one liters of coke, and free delivery for 14.99.

I usually get half pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalepenos, with barbeque sauce instead of pizza sauce; and the other half italian beef with jalepenos. But I was getting sick of getting the same thing all the time, so I just last night got half ground beef, onions and bacon with barbeque sauce, and the other half chicken and bacon again with barbeque sauce. I think the next pizza I order from them will have pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalepenos, and the other half ground beef, onions, bacon...with barbeque sauce on the whole thing.

The weirdest pizza I ever ate was at this pizza place run by Chinese people.
I had white garlic sauce instead of pizza sauce, and on top had clams and bamboo shoots. It was quite good, though hardly traditional. So what toppings did you get on your last pizza/what was the weirdest pizza you've ever eaten?

I have never understood putting fruit on pizza. I personally don't like the taste of cooked fruit, especially not combined with tomato sauce, meat and cheese.

That being said, I usually get a boring pepperoni pizza, or something with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon (or Canadian bacon). The last pizza I had was double pepperoni and extra cheese.

If you really get down to the nuts and bolts of it, a tomato is a fruit, so every pizza that includes tomato sauce actually DOES have fruit on it.

My religion forces me to reconize the tomato as a vegetable, due to the fact that it tastes nothing like fruit.

I used to work at Pizza Slut, and I know what it's like to get burned out on pizza. I would NEVER get pan pizza from them after I worked there. First, the amount of oil they use in those things is overwhelming, and also we had many pans go through the wash with food still on them, then get put into a stack still wet, and not get used until sometimes a week later, at which point there would be blue mold growing on the pans (long run-on sentence, but still grammatically correct). I used to get thin crust all the time.

What is CiCi's? And in that statement are you saying Papa John's is good or bad? My advice to you is to get your pizza from the little local places, not the big chains. The local places' pizza tends to taste better IMHO.

Well, I only get a pizza like once every few weeks, at most. I don't really have time to try and hunt down a good pizza dive here in town, but I guess that's my best option.

Oh, and CiCi's is this extremely ghetto pizza bar dealy. But they usually have an arcade (4-player Simpsons or TMNT arcade games, and others). I don't think very highly of the food there. It's cheap and horrible.

I haven't gotten Papa John's lately. I first got their pizza like 17 years ago when they were only found on college campuses. It used to be good. It was higher-end than the other pizza places in town (Champaign/Urban, IL), which were named Grog's (4.99 12" pizza, 2 free drinks, and free onions and green peppers...quality!) and Gumby's.
