I have a pretty simple question. I have a quest that you go and retrieve a book, when you return to the quest giver you get 100 money. I have the quest all set up but when you turn the quest in the money just shows up in your inventory. The blue inventory screen doesn't come up that shows what money or item you received. I want this screen to come up like it does with a treasure chest. Is there something different i need to do other than party control>obtain money? Any help appreciated.

I dont think that can be manually triggered by an event. you could make a message pop up that says "you got blah blah blah", or have the guy say "the money is in the treasure chest over there" and then unlock the chest after the conversation.

I haven't had a chance to mess around with RPG Maker III in a couple of weeks, sadly enough, but....
for items:
I know that if you want the blue inventory screen to appear, you need to have "Party Member" set up to receive an item (instead of selecting an individual PC Name).
