Site is fixed, so why no updates?

yeah, you'd think I would have the contest results copied from my little notebook and announced here now that the site is finished, but my time at the pavilion (and online in general) is down to less than an hour a day. why?

Well, as many people know, I love rabbits. I've owned pet rabbits all my life, and I have a habit of bonding with them like they were my own children. my current bunny, Smokey, just got over a respiratory infection, and an eye infection. his treatment and care took most of my free time for the past 2 weeks, and now as a result of his now-passed illness, he is suffering from GI Stasis, which requires constant around the clock attention from me, forced feedings, forcing him to play, and just making sure he gets lots of love so he doesnt go through any stress which would make things worse. The worst is over (near fatal respiratory infection), but he's not out of the woods yet.

Simply put, I love my bunny, and he's more important than the pavilion, or anything going on here.

I'll try to get a few things done around here when I have time (which includes contest results, at the top of my list) but my kid needs me more than you guys do.

I'll also apologize for being a bit of an ass to people the last few days (this includes you, bio), I'm literally worried sick about smokey right now, and my tolerance for um... everything, is a bit low right now.

He's off to the vet again tomorrow to see if there's any prescription stuff I can get him on to speed up his recovery.

The Pavilion is forever, but you have to care for your rabbit while you still can. Totally understandable.

Pets are family, so that is perfectly understandable. Take care of the fam before the pav. I wish Smokey a speedy recovery.
I had to change accounts. I'm here now - http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/member.php?u=1475

Why not let Mora or myself take charge for a while 'till Smokey gets better? That way the people get to know the results they've been waiting for, and you get to focus on your bunny.

there's nothing you guys could do though. if I wanted to send you the contest results to post, I'd still have to transcribe everything from notebook to computer. same amount of work, takes same amount of time.

That's a cute name. I like that, Smokey.

            Hope everything works out.

              How old is this rabbit?

Cause you know, rabbits only live for like 3-5 years, tops. >_>

              So that said...
(if he's a young bunny Give him lots of cuddles from me! ^_^
(if he's an old bunny Perhaps its time to trade in for a newer model. (JUST A SUGESTION!!)

Only if they're neglected. my last rabbit, Daisy, died of old age at the ripe old age of 11.

Smokey's first birthday was on March 22nd.

I wish a quick and safe recovery for Smokey. It is sad when a pet gets sick.

My girlfriend's brother's fiance's rabbit has a weird problem with its eye, too. It's all red and inflamed, and they've got to give it eye drops all the time. Hope your bunny gets better. I never had a bunny. I had a tarantula named Fred.

                        Valkysas,
I hope your Smokey is doing better today. Having a pet who's sick is not easy to deal with at all, I know. I've never had a pet rabbit, but over the years, I've had to say goodbye to a couple of dogs and a cat. Know that people here support your decision to do what you need to do for your rabbit. Take care of him. Do whatever you need to do. We're behind you, my friend.
