    Experience Gain Chart

I read through the sticky here, and in an attempt to solve a few of my problems I went through and made a spreadsheet that has helped my immensly. I figured I would post it here for anyone that may need it also.

Its broken into three pages and was done in Microsoft Excel. Columns are included for the total xp, required xp, the increased values and percentages.

I included a section to the right that can help show required xp needed to level based on the number of kills you want to incur. Assuming they're all worth the same amount and all the same level this will be very close. Since it will likely differ for most people it will be a good ball-park figure. Plus by changing the value (defaulted to 20) to a different value the averages will change.

To further simplify things I made average xp/kill in level brackets of 5 and 10 from levels 1-99.

The file is about 96kb. Enjoy.

Go right ahead. It started as a little pet project to end my frustration and it just grew and grew... I got curious and wanted to know if there was a pattern in it somewhere. By looking at it, I'd say that's a yes!

Ah, if only I had Microsoft Excel. Still, you've already proved your worth as a RPGM Pavilionite (and in only 5 posts!), so Imma gonna give you some rep.

I'm sure there's free software that can open spreadsheets.

Thanks! I do what I can.

I found one error that I corrected and made a few cosmetic changes so its a little easier to read and navigate.

I made a version of this that works in OpenOffice.Org 2.0 for those of us that don't have Microsoft Office.

              http://www.nethippy.org/rpgm3calc.zip

Also included is an easier to read version of the stat balancing tool for OpenOffice.Org. The original Excel version works fine, I just found it a bit difficult to read.

Thanks for designing these, they should prove quite useful if I build another game with RPG Maker 3.

No problem at all. The stat tool was a bit disorganized but since I made it I knew where everything was and didn't really know what should be done to make it easier.
