Tomb Raider Legend is actually good?!?

Seriously! Check it out. The game controls more like Mario than an old TR game. The tank controls are gone. Now you press a direction and Lara just starts running in that direction. You can also move the camera around Lara like you would in a Mario game too.

Yeah the game feels a lot more fresh since you aren't restricted to a grid system any longer. I have the PS2 version and am half way through the game. It's definately a good game, fun puzzles, partially challenging, many outfits and extras, etc...

Lara's Mansion is a fun pastime place with lots of good finds and secrets.

I plan on getting it for the XBox 360. Partly so my sister can play it. She used to love the old games. Even if they were crappy after 1.

I am glad they finally changed the controls. That was the one major problem with the entire series.

What!?! I saw a commercial the other day that said some magazine or whatever gave it a 5 out of 5. That gave me quite a shock, seeing that as long as I can remember... their haven't been a good Tomb Raider game, IMO. I'm glad to hear that the series is finally getting good. I might actually give the game a shot.

No... they said they were gonna do that, but never did.
All they added were melee attacks, which (apparently) CryDyn removed in Legend... WHICH ACTUALLY IS GOOD! Seriously.

You can do a few melee attacks when you get close to an enemy. I never played AOD so, I can't compare but, they seem ok to me.

It's simple, but the best feature is the speed up button, for any action, you hold it and it goes faster, I hated climbing up a wall 20 times because i hit the let go button, it's simple, easy, and effective.

I downloaded the demo from the 360 market place. And I was very impressed with the game. I will pick it up once it aint 60 bucks.

You can do a few melee attacks when you get close to an enemy.

Basicly in AOD the melee attacks were Stealth Kills.
