Moving to the Land of the Rising Sun

Woot! I just got accepted for a job in Japan! I'm moving to the land of video games and seizure lights in August. ^_^ I thought I'd spread my mirth around here...

Hajimemashite. Doozo yoroshiku. Watashi no meeshi desu.

I took a Japanese class my first attempt at college. I forget almost all of it but I still have the textbook. Anyways, have fun and make a lot of money.

I took a class on both Japanese language and culture.

I'd love to live there. it's near the top of my list of places I want to live in at one point in my life.

Actually...the 9000 people involved in the JET Programme every year...the majority of them don't speak Japanese when they enter the country. As this is the 20th year of the Programme, I'll hope that not every single one of them is wrong. =P

it's a lot easier to assimilate it all when you're surrounded by it. it will be daunting at first, but you will eventually catch on. plus, I'd imagine that your company would provide some sort of training or something.

                    OH. The JET PROGRAM.

OK, thank you. That clears everything up.

Yeah, I wanna do this when I graduate. Maybe.

                          Japanese Exchange and Teaching Programme

People keep asking me if I got onto the JAP Programme...much to my chagrin.

I'll keep a webblog, and keep everyone updated on how cool the video games are there. =P I already know who Hardgay is Valky. ^_~

Glueme, they apparently don't know the difference between Canucks and Americans...I just hope I'm not told to speak in an American accent. That'll suck. But they don't hate them...they're sorta in awe of the foreigner (or gaijin).

If my experience was any indication nobody except a few high schoolers will pay you any mind.

And the temples and stuff were actually my favorite part of my trip.
