    New GC Pokemon Game Confirmed

The 2nd GC Pokemon game has been announced as Pokemon "XD", a true Pokemon RPG for the Gamecube, rather than that Colosseum stuff.

    XD

    Emoticon, I choose YOU!

I am looking forward to learning a little more about this game, since I've given up on the handheld versions.

It's about time! I wonder if it will let you import Pokemon from the GBA games. Too bad there probably won't be any online connectivity in it. We'll probably have to wait for the DS and Revolution Pokemon games for that.

At this point, the only Pokemon game I'd be interested in is one in which they completely retooled the currently one-dimensional battle system.

Exactly which parts do you think need changed, out of curiosity? Myself, I'll settle for those two-on-two battles. One of my favorite features of Colleseum was how every battle in the Story Mode had two-on-two battles.

I'm very interested in this game myself. Here's hoping it won't come in two versions. Here's hoping even more that not a single Pokemon that can be used in the game can only be obtained from Nintendo. Even more than that, PLEASE don't make me have to use the GBA controller for anything in the game, unless I want to!
