My dorm room is approx. 20 feet away from a day care center. And now that the weather is starting to get nice again, the little brats manage to wake me up EVERY damn morning. It's fine on M/T/W/F when I have early classes. But the other 3 days of the week...

My old house was across the street from the playground of an elementary school and under the flight path of the SA international airport.

I suggest you get some foam earplugs if it really bothers you.
