    Don't pray for me

It's probably not what you think...

NEW YORK (AP) -- In the largest study of its kind, researchers found that having people pray for heart bypass surgery patients had no effect on their recovery. In fact, patients who knew they were being prayed for had a slightly higher rate of complications.

Jeez, I could swear it was on CNN.com that I also read about a prayer study having positive effects. That's the news for you.

Yeah, that directly contradicts another story they posted recently.

Why don't you take a gander at the actual studies themselves and come to your own conclusions.

Eventually everything will be found to kill you and everything will be found the keep you alive.

For an example of this, I just read a story on a report that the idea of having a couple glasses of wine would help your heart is based on faulty research, and that drinking has at best no effect on you, and may have only negative effects.

Praying still has the same 50/50 chance of working as wishing and hoping, so, it's all redundant.

Which is what that study Kire talked about it hinted at. Having no effect doesn't mean that the patients didn't get better. It's just that there was zero correlation between recovery and prayer.
