    Tales of Good & Evil

This is my first game for RPGM 3 and so far it is going pretty well, just slow. This is the Prolouge for the story:

As far back as history remebers there were two Gods, Karden of Light, and Loktos of Darkness. With their incredible powers they created the world and all it's people. After all was created Karden created a massive tower that reached all the way up into the heavens to show his power in the world. Loktos also built a tower, on the othet shore from Karden's tower. However, Humans were still imperfect beings, and soon began to quarrel and fight amongst themselves. When Karden and Loktos realized what was happening to their creation they took steps to save it. Karden believed the world could be saved, but Loktos believed it had to be destroyed and made anew. Because of their difference in opinion, the two fought furiously along side the humans. Eventually Karden emerged as the victor, sealing Loktos away for an eternity. But because he sealed away Loktos, Karden was destroyed as well. Even though both of the Gods had been destroyed, the people still clung to their old religions and began to rebuild their world worshiping Karden, because he had defeated Loktos, that religion is called the Karden Church. A minute few however believed in Loktos, and fled from the mainland where Karden was widespred worshiped. Instead the built around Loktos's tower and worshipped him. That religion is called the Loktos Apostles. Thousands of years have passed, and a young man named Firion is about to go on a journey like no other. A journey to find his sister after her disapearence from their small village of Halvum, a part of the Tashbaan empire, believers in Karden. But also to find the truth behind the Gods and their followers...

Coments, questions? I'd love to hear your input! Thanks.

My game also has a light (good) goddess and a dark (evil) god who created the world and who fought for supremacy. The light goddess did win, and she locked all of the dark god's minions (demons) in a tower that stretched towards the sky. Other than that, your game sounds different than mine, but the backgrounds are eerily similar.

Wow that is oddly strange... I got a lot of my ideas from The Legend of Heroes game. Except instead of Bardus and Octum I have Karden and Loktos. and instead of Avin and Mile I have Firion (From Final Fantasy II) and Aika (From Skies of Arcadia Legends). Other then that most of my ideas I came up with myself.

Heh, I was wondering if you were doing any name-borrowing.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

I borrowed a name to an extent...my evil god's name is Krato. I just thought it was a cool name regardless of God of War. When I got pretty far into the game I thought about changing it so people didn't think I was ripping off God of War(which I've never played), but it would take WAY too much time to go back and edit every reference to him in my game. So he shall remain named Krato.

Oh, and Reuce, Skies of Arcadia is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, RPG of all time. Last time I played it, I spent more than 100 hrs. on it. I'm a bit of a completeist. I still need to play my copy for Gamecube. I started it, but never finished.

I love Skies of Arcadia, and I liked Aika as a character so I tryed to put her into my game with pretty much the samed additude. She's also an orphan in my game and so is Firion and his Sister Emily. Come to think of it many of my characers are from other games. Not far into the game the party meets up with Irvine, the vain sniper asssasin from Final Fantasy VIII, although he's more or a town gaurd in my game. Also when the party reaches the Old Capitol they meet up with Barret, and those of you who played Final Fantasy VII will remeber the swearing annoying and big black man who accompanies Cloud on his journey. The one other name I borrowed was the weapon skill "Braver" that Aika can learn once she gains enough experience. It was Cloud's main limit break in FF VII

Anyway I look forward to finishing Tales of Good & Evil and uploading it to this site, until then I'll be poping in and out with new information

Well, I hope you're only borrowing names. The FF7 Barret would not fit in at all with RPGM3.

                What makes you think that?

There aren't any gun-armed Mr. Ts in RPGM3.
