I just yesterdy bought RPGM1 from Amazon.com, and was thinking about getting a Dex Drive, but was wondering if it is compatible with PS2, as I do not own a PS1. Thanks.

The dex drive doesnt interface with the console at all. it simply plugs into your PC's serial port, and you stick a PS1 memory card in it. it won't accept PS2 memory cards though.

Now all I need to do is find some PS1 memory cards so I can download more than one game from here.

I've found them as cheap as a dollar at gamestop.

You'll want at least 3 PS1 cards (for use with RPGM only, I should add). Some games actually require you to use 3 at the same time (by swapping it out when it's looking for stuff on another card). You probably won't need more than that, though.

Amazon.com currently has 3 new and 1 used.

One thing that needs to be mentioned, the DexDrive uses a 9-pin port (I think), and some computers don't have those. If you don't have one, you'll have to look for an adaptor to plug it into your USB port.

Thanks for the replies!

I just hope that I won't need to find a port for the dex drive...... :(

I'm assuming Dex Drives won't work with a Mac correct?
