Re: Stop it
I was liking these animal adventure movies at first. Now it's rediculous. Why is everybody making the same thing all of a sudden?
That third one in particular seems like a rip off of Madagascar. Or is it a sequel? I forgot who made it. And I'm too uninterested to look into it."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

That's what I was about to say, except this movie takes place in the city the entire time apparently. That third one in particular seems like a rip off of Madagascar. Or is it a sequel? I forgot who made it. And I'm too uninterested to look into it.Last edited by Hedrum; 03-27-2006, 12:10 AM.

Re: Stop it
2D animated movies, to me, look so much better than CG movies. It's just more impressive when they're smoothly animated. CG movies, you pretty much make the model, and maniuplate it using a computer program. 2D movies take effort. Unless it's flash-based. Then they're just being lazy.Originally posted by joshwhere are the good animated movies? like, real animation?
But it seems like the old-fashioned animated movies are being restricted to really unnecessary sequels such as Lady and the Tramp 2, Lilo and Stitch 2, The Lion King 1 1/2, etc. right now. And these are straight-to-video sequels, and in my experience, these type of movies don't have near as much effort put into them as those that are shown in the movie theater."What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Re: Stop it
seriously. it's kind of sad that movies like Sleeping Beauty, the Jungle Book, and the Secret of Nimh (all released many years ago) have much better animation than a lot of the animated movies being released today. it really speaks volume about how much the people behind the scenes really care.
