Can Someone Please Host My Resume?

Don't worry, I'm not out of a job. However, I want to be "in the market" in case something better comes along.

I put up a profile on a local job searching site. I uploading my Microsoft Word format resume to their site, which then told me that my resume was "being optimized" and a counter appeared until it was finished.

The "optimization" was changing my resume from *.doc format to plain text. Nice. It looks like crap in plain text.

At any rate, I was thinking I could circumvent their clever system by coding in a hyperlink in the resume section to the real resume. That's where the "hosting" comes in. Can anyone help?

None of the free providers I know of welcome remote linking. Remote linking is key.

I dunno if you want to do this but you could always set up a free website and host it yourself. Like Freewebs or somthing like that.

Well, I have a blog, but I don't know how to upload anything to it.

When it comes to freewebs and stuff like that, I am trying to set up a hyperlink in my career profiles to download the resume. Free providers won't allow that.
